Ricky (Julian Dennison) is a defiant city kid who finds himself on the run in the NZ bush with his cantankerous foster uncle (Sam Neill) in this wild and wonderful fantasy. The unlikely duo find themselves on the run, evading child services and the law. They are forced to work together to survive and despite their differences, form a bond in this hilarious and heart-felt adventure.
