Ana (an excellent Almudena Amor, The Good Boss) decided to study nursing to help people. Now a nursing assistant, she works as a caregiver for a woman who is in a coma state. Everything goes smoothly, she arrives, does her job and leaves. That is until she begins to feel attracted to Agustín (Javier Rey, Beyond the Summit, The House of Snails), the woman's husband, and everything changes.
Soon, Ana begins to be harassed by strange, paranormal phenomena, that seem to be trying to push her from the house and separate her from Agustín.
Featuring supernatural undercurrents, this tale of romance, suspense and intrigue is the feature film debut from up-and-coming director Laura Alvea (The Snow Girl). Shot in Seville and the Canary Islands, The Sleeping Woman is an intense psychological thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat.
