Toñi (played by a magnificent Elena Irueta, Patria, A Moroccan Affair) is an eccentric and cheeky grandmother with incredible people skills. Her daughter Daniela (Toni Acosta, One Hell of a Holiday) is the complete opposite, perpetually stressed by her job and by being a single mother to her nine-year-old daughter, Alexia. Naturally, Alexia adores her whirlwind, free-spirited grandmother. So, when Daniela takes Alexia to a rural retreat, Toñi does not hesitate to turn up with her caravan. Eager to spend time with her granddaughter and liven up the show, Toñi’s presence sets off a tsunami of hilarious disasters.

A funny and heartwarming box office hit comedy about three generations of women and the power of love to overcome differences, My Amazing Grandma is directed by Ana Vázquez in her feature debut, with a screenplay by Roberto Jiménez.
